Miniature valves to optimize the installation space

The minimization of our customers' systems poses new challenges for the development of suitable fluidic components. Our valve solutions for gases and liquids offer new application possibilities. Whether as an inline valve or with flange connection for integration in modules, the versatile design simplifies the integration and implementation of fluidic solutions.

Miniature valves in cartridge design

Starting with 7mm external dimensions and 0.3mm orifice diameter, we offer the smallest valves as 2/2-way and 3/2-way versions for integration in valve blocks. Due to the small size, very compact modules can be developed. Larger flows are made possible by using the 10mm or 12mm CSV valves or the 15mm or 21mm valves.

The 10mm / 12mm CSV valves are pressure balanced so that the maximum operating pressure of up to 2 bar can be applied to all ports. Furthermore, the solenoid valves of those series can be used in any flow direction regardless of the fluid port. Thanks to the cartridge design, the valve body can be fully integrated into the valve block, which means that compact valve modules with optimized fluidic solutions can be implemented.

Due to the valve technology, these micro valves are characterized by fast switching times and a long life-time. Versions for the use of oxygen as a medium are also available, so that these miniature valves can be found especially in analytical and medical technology applications like respirators.

Inline microvalves

The inline miniature valves are available with different connections and can be integrated into the fluidic line axially to the direction of flow. This enables the implementation of very compact solutions, which only require 7.5mm or 10mm in space. Furthermore, these valve series are characterized by a high flow rate, fast switching times and good flushability. Stainless steel versions and a wide selection of sealing materials enable the use with slightly aggressive gases.

Miniature valves with media separating diaphragm

The compact valves with separating diaphragms are available in high-quality wetted materials such as PEEK and FFKM and enable the control of aggressive media. With orifice diameters of 0.4mm and 0.8mm, a maximum pressure of up to 2.5bar and versions with bistable magnets, they can be used in microfluidic and handheld devices.

Micropumps in combination with microvalves

In addition to the micro valves we offer various pump systems in the miniature range. Whether piezo pumps, micro peristaltic pumps or miniature syringe pumps - the miniature series also offer new possibilities for flow generation or direct dosing. You can find out more about these products in the corresponding miniature pump categories.
